The only private rescue dog team in Nepal now has a new emergency vehicle. The BRH and I.S.A.R. Germany project team handed over the urgently needed vehicle on Wednesday. The relief operation was organised by the Association Rescue Dogs for Nepal. BRH and ISAR made it possible to finance this urgently needed off-road vehicle. Until now, the team had to rely on hired vehicles for its missions.
After the handover, potential new training grounds in the highlands around Pokhara were visited. On Thursday, our team visited the training centre of SAR Dogs Nepal, took a look at the work of the unit and held many discussions with members of the squadron. This also involved preparing for further cooperation.
