At the end of November, we hosted a delegation from Indonesia. This included members of the MDMC Indonesiathe World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The experts learned about the work of the World Health Organisation (WHO)-certified Emergency Medical Team from ISAR Germany and our Search and Rescue (SAR) unit. The MDMC delegation provided information about their work in the country, which is repeatedly hit by natural disasters.
ISAR Germany is a partner in a twinning project of the Federal Ministry of Health. The project is led by the Robert Koch Institute. Cooperation with the MDMC is to be further expanded as part of the project. The aim is to support the expansion of disaster management in Indonesia and to provide assistance in the event of a disaster.
