Following the severe earthquakes in Venezuela, we at ISAR Germany are also sending an advance team to the disaster area. The team, consisting of team leader Tim Poluzyn and our Medical Director, Peter Kaup, will arrive in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, early on Friday morning. They are part of a larger team comprising various European aid organisations, which will assess the situation on the ground and prepare for any further operations.

At the same time, we are preparing for a possible medical mission in Venezuela. The Emergency Medical Team, which is certified by the World Health Organisation, is ready and able to deploy immediately should a request for assistance be received.
