Our project sponsor at the RTL - We help children - Donation marathon, Matthias Steiner, visited our practice in Weeze. The Olympic and world champion in weightlifting accompanied our team for a whole day. He took the opportunity to find out more about our work. Matthias Steiner was shown the work of the rescue dogs, the rescue of buried victims and the medical treatment of earthquake victims. The focus was on our new „Mother & Child“ module, with which we aim to improve medical care for women and children in disaster areas. Steiner did not miss the opportunity to lend a hand himself. He helped with the rescue work in the rubble and with the rescue of a buried child. This gave him a very realistic picture of our work.
