I.S.A.R. Medicals and Field Office train at Haus Wohnung
The individual I.S.A.R. Germany specialist groups hold regular training sessions and courses. Joint cholera training strengthens disaster preparedness
A comprehensive cholera training course organised by the Robert Koch Institute, Aktion Deutschland hilft and the World Health Organisation (WHO) has prepared medical professionals, volunteers and members of local organisations to deal with the infectious disease. I.S.A.R. supports Indonesian team with WHO certification
On 19 October 2025, the Indonesian rescue team MDMC (Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center) received certification as an Emergency Medical Team (EMT) from the World Health Organization (WHO). Dr Roy Cosico from the WHO EMT Secretariat presented the team led by Dr Corona Rintawan with the official EMT patch. This makes MDMC the 63rd certified EMT worldwide and the first from Indonesia....
