Bambi for I-S-A-R

A small reward for her tireless efforts to help people in need. In 2010, the 1st Chairwoman of I·S·A·R Germany was honoured with the Bambi in the »Silent Heroes« category. Dr Daniela Lesmeister accepted the award on behalf of all members of the aid organisation who repeatedly put their lives in danger under the most adverse circumstances in order to save human lives.

»I think of the elderly lady who organises a charity bazaar for disaster victims. The children who donate part of their pocket money to earthquake victims. The companies that support the work of German aid organisations. You are all helping quietly and making the most important thing possible: you are helping to help us. I accept this Bambi for all of you tonight!«, says Daniela Lesmeister.
