Our mission statement

Who are we and what do we do?
I.S.A.R. Germany is a globally active, non-profit search and rescue organisation with a clear mission to save human lives in extreme situations and to sustainably strengthen rescue capabilities. Our commitment can only be realised through donations.

A central focus of our work is the Localisation and Rescue buried persons, especially after Earthquake, using highly specialised Rescue dogs and qualified task forces.

In addition, we provide Emergency medical care for injured and affected persons and ensure the Primary care in Complex damage situations.

In addition to acute operations, I.S.A.R. Germany is involved in the development, training and sustainable strengthening of rescue and operational infrastructures on the ground, always in close cooperation with local and international partners and institutions. The aim is to make help available in an effective, structured and long-term manner.

I.S.A.R. Germany assumes responsibility when existing structures reach their limits. We act quickly, competently and in a coordinated manner, with clear responsibilities and a high degree of technical precision. Our claim goes beyond the moment. We not only create Support for in use, but leave behind Hope and effective structures for the future.
