I.S.A.R. Germany also helped in Indonesia
It was clear early on that I.S.A.R. Germany would also provide assistance in Indonesia. Following the Indonesian government's international request for assistance, the mission team set off for the crisis region.
Once they arrived in the town of Padang, the team searched for survivors under the rubble and found the Medical care some of the most seriously injured. The helpers from I.S.A.R. Germany were confronted with shocking images of injured people, especially in the remote regions. They treated broken bones and open wounds. But even minor injuries were treated with dedication and care.
Rescue dogs as support
Very helpful for the Search operation Once again, the specially trained search dogs provided by I.S.A.R. Germany proved their worth. This made a targeted search and rescue operation much easier.
