An 84-year-old resident of a residential care home on Elly-Heuss-Knapp-Straße has been missing since Saturday afternoon. Police forces, including a helicopter, had already been searching for the woman, who suffers from dementia, during the night.

At the request of the police, I.S.A.R. had been on duty since 11 a.m. with four missing persons' sniffer dogs. Together with the police, they searched the entire building and the surrounding area. I.S.A.R. also received support from the Wesel squadron of the Federal Association of Rescue Dogs (BRH). The colleagues were deployed with several area detection dogs in the partially wooded area surrounding the residential complex.

The missing woman has not yet been found. The operation has ended for I.S.A.R. Germany for the time being. Further search measures are being carried out by the police.
