The Lower Rhine aid organisation I.S.A.R. Germany not only helps in disaster situations worldwide, but also in national emergencies. For example, the volunteers have already been able to support numerous missions in the search for missing persons with their specially trained mantrailer and water detection dogs.
In addition to the dogs, I.S.A.R. Germany also uses technical localisation equipment such as a listening device and a search camera. The provision of a camera drone tailored to the needs of the aid organisation I.S.A.R. Germany, which has already been used by trained and certified drone pilots for qualified reconnaissance of accident sites in Germany, is also noteworthy.
In the event of a disaster, the rescuers travel in a special emergency vehicle, which has now been labelled accordingly. Daniela Lesmeister, President of I.S.A.R. Germany: "The elaborate labelling of the vehicle was made possible by Rüdiger Holtkamp - Karosserie- und Lackierzentrum GmbH from Duisburg - who donated the new layout of the white and blue emergency vehicle. We would like to say a big thank you to him."
