In Hünxe last weekend, I.S.A.R. Germany trained in the coordination of disaster situations in the context of international operations.

Both the reception centre in the country of deployment, the „Reception-Departure Centre“, and the international operations coordination centre, the „On-Site Operations Coordination Centre“, were set up. In addition to practical exercises, theoretical knowledge was also refreshed. The course was based on the requirements of the United Nations. These are laid down in the guidelines of the UN organisation INSARAG. Experts from I.S.A.R. were also able to contribute their experience from previous missions to the course.
