Hurricane Matthew hit the Caribbean state of Haiti with full force on Tuesday. The hurricane has wind speeds of 230 kilometres per hour and has been classified in the second-highest category.
According to the US National Hurricane Centre (NHC), it is considered „extremely dangerous“. Massive destruction is expected.
I.S.A.R. Germany is monitoring the situation and will provide assistance as quickly as possible if required. This means that doctors and
paramedics with extensive medical equipment were sent to the disaster area.
