Last weekend, the individual components of the Search and Rescue team met to prepare for the upcoming recertification at the UN.
Management, logistics as well as rescue and localisation practised intensively in their respective areas for three days. In 2007, I.S.A.R. Germany was the first team in the world to be certified in the „medium“ category by UN/INSARAG and has voluntarily undergone recertification every five years since then. This is now due to take place again at the beginning of May this year.
