As part of disaster control, I.S.A.R. Germany was requested by the Duisburg fire service control centre on 16 February 2017 for an operation in the city of Oberhausen.
By using the camera drone, the I.S.A.R. Germany emergency services provided the local incident command centre and the crisis management team of the city of Oberhausen with up-to-date aerial images and thus helped to combat the consequences of a hazardous substance leak.
