The I.S.A.R. Germany medical team has been training in Hünxe for the past three days. The training at the BRH training centre focused on practising procedures and processes in preparation for international aid missions. The medical team is led by Dr. Frederic Ruckert.
It is due to be certified according to World Health Organisation (WHO) standards next year. This year, the Search and Rescue component of I.S.A.R. Germany has already been tested at a Major exercise in Switzerland for the third time by the UN organisation INSARAG has been certified for international use.
