At the beginning of June, ISAR Germany began training the next generation of highly specialised disaster detection and coordination teams (UNDAC) the United Nations supported. In Morges at Lake Geneva, our team member Dr Steven Bayer was part of the international coaching staff. He was one of two German mentors alongside the spokesperson of the German UNDAC team, Silva Lauffer. The budding UNDAC experts were taught all the phases of a UNDAC mission as part of a practical exercise lasting several days.
