André Kuper, President of the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, has thanked helpers from ISAR Germany and the BRH Federal Association of Rescue Dogs for their voluntary work. Referring to the missions following the flood disaster in Germany and the severe earthquake in Haiti, he said at a reception in the state parliament in Düsseldorf: "The need of the people in the disaster areas in Haiti and here in North Rhine-Westphalia was and is unbelievably great. With their swift and tireless efforts, they have helped to alleviate the suffering of those affected and save many lives."
