A team from the partner organisations BRH Bundesverband Rettungshunde and I.S.A.R. Germany left for the Philippine province of Leyte on Saturday. Over the next few days, extensive medical equipment will be handed over to the hospital in the municipality of Calubian. This includes beds, oxygen concentrators, an ozone steriliser and a closed and ventilated laboratory workstation for working with contaminated materials.
Training courses for hospital staff and an intensive exchange of experience are also planned. The equipment was financed by the „Aktion Deutschland Hilft.“ and is intended to help improve the care of corona patients.
You will find out more about the work of our team in the next few days.
