I.S.A.R. Germany is currently shining from the exterior façade of the Citypalais in Duisburg. Thanks to the support of MERKUR CASINO Duisburg, our organisation has a large. area and a completely digital presence. True to the motto: "At work in the world, at home in Duisburg."

The countdown is on: 3, 2, 1...click! The red buzzer is pressed with combined forces. Immediately afterwards, a special message appears on the exterior façade of the CityPalais: „LED wall for a good cause“ is emblazoned in large letters on the 46 square metre electronic advertising space. The sender of this advertising motif is MERKUR CASINO Duisburg. Normally, the casino uses its LED wall to provide information about current gaming operations and upcoming events. In the pre-Christmas period, it is foregoing this exclusive advertising channel and instead making it available to five charitable organisations free of charge for their public relations work. And so the advertising messages of the local organisations now flicker across the XXL digital screen. The fact that the organisations can present themselves on such a medium is not an everyday advertising campaign for them. The participating organisations include the Duisburg Animal Welfare Centre, I.S.A.R. Germany, the Duisburg Community Foundation, AIDS-Hilfe Duisburg/Kreis Wesel and VKM Duisburg - the association for people with physical and multiple disabilities. „With their work, non-profit organisations are the backbone of our society. However, their commitment often only takes place on the fringes of public perception. With our campaign, we want to make a proactive contribution to giving these organisations a greater public presence,“ explains David Schnabel, Managing Director of MERKUR SPIELBANKEN NRW.

The electronic advertising space in Duisburg city centre has been in operation since last September. Several thousand people pass by it every day - a perfect advertising medium to present the messages of the non-profit organisations to the general public. From Thursday, 15 December, the motifs of the participating associations will run in a continuous loop on the LED video wall between 11 am and 10 pm. Each message will remain on the screen for exactly 60 seconds, totalling 132 impressions per day. The campaign will run until Christmas. But it will not be the last of its kind: „The option to use our LED wall free of charge has been very well received. We can imagine realising more projects like this in the future. After all, the work done by the clubs is indispensable and deserves to be seen and appreciated,“ says David Schnabel.
