ISAR Germany was present at this year's Scholarship Day 2026 organised by Startsocial in Berlin dabeo. The event brought together committed initiatives from all over Germany and provided a space for dialogue, reflection and shared learning. For our team, the day was both an intensive and empowering experience.
The focus was on open discussions, honest insights into the work of other organisations and the diversity of social approaches and perspectives. The exchange with the other scholarship holders made it clear how much innovative strength, courage and perseverance there is in civil society. The encounters with people who are personally committed to social change were particularly inspiring for us.
The content of the day was characterised by a successful mix of discussions, practical workshops and informal discussion formats. The focus was not only on professional impulses, but also on sharing experiences, challenges and solutions from the daily practice of social work. The appreciative atmosphere facilitated dialogue on an equal footing and created a space in which many participants felt seen, understood and encouraged.
