I.S.A.R. at NATO exercise in Bulgaria

The 20th NATO Emergency Management Exercise "BULGARIA 2025" took place in Bulgaria from 7 to 12 September 2025 and marked an important milestone for I.S.A.R. Germany and international cooperation in civil protection. I.S.A.R. forces practise rescue operations on the Lower Rhine

In a large-scale rescue exercise, the emergency services of I.S.A.R. Germany trained for three days under realistic conditions in the event of an emergency. The starting point was a severe earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 in the town of Zamek Wodny in the Republic of Dolny Ren, a fictitious state in Central Europe. I.S.A.R. supports Polish team with INSARAG recertification in Gdańsk

One of the most important civil protection exercises of the year is currently taking place in Gdańsk: The INSARAG recertification of the Polish Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team. I.S.A.R. monitors situation after Myanmar quake

On 28 March 2025, a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 shook Myanmar and Thailand. The epicentre was near Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar. I.S.A.R. supports EMT in Indonesia

The Emergency Medical Teams (EMT) project "EMT TTT" of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) brought its 2024 activities to a close with a training session in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In heavy rain, but still in a good mood, the EMT partner organisations Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Centre (MDMC) from Indonesia and the WHO-classified German EMT International Search and Rescue (ISAR Germany) held a joint EMT TTT from 23 to 25 November 2024.
