The example of his host father during his student days, a South African orthopaedic surgeon who repeatedly treated patients in his home country free of charge, had a lasting impact on him. Water treatment for earthquake victims handed over

On Thursday, German aid workers in Indonesia handed over water treatment and power generation systems for the earthquake victims to local users. I.S.A.R. Drinking water treatment plant put into operation

On Monday evening, German aid organisations began treating drinking water for earthquake victims on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. From their base camp in the disaster area, I.S.A.R.
